AN ODE TO MY FATHER ON HIS BIRTHDAY! March 29th,2016

Through strict discipline and scolding with a little tender care,he put us on the right path, placed us on our right foot and taught us what we needed to do..I cud remember all those times when I was much younger and I hated him,not because of anything but
because he was strict and I tot he was cruel...but as I grew,I began to realize that's his own way of putting us in the right path and direction..
Ups and downs,Rise and fall didn't stop this Great Man from giving us what we needed,He strived and toiled to put food on our table,He's gone to office broke and hungry just to make sure we eat.
He taught us the word of God,put it in our mouths forcibly or gently (as the case may be),made us take education serious through serious beating, punishment and sometimes,brain-bursting talks, thank God for those dou,it has helped me in my academic pursuit....
A versatile dad,a scholar,a writer who would always know one little something about everything,I could bet I took that from him!!,(his versatility)
Through him,I learnt the true meaning of the phrase 'when life throws you lemons, make lemon juice instead of complaining',a never-say-neverkind of dad who never believe in impossiblities..
Hygiene?..ask my siblings, they'll tell you stories about that,if u don't brush properly..u re in soup, and not bathing properly,u re in stew..
